I have Two Pony Tail Palms?

I have two pony tail palm trees but I don't know exactly where to place them inside my house or should I even have them inside? Somewhere where both can get ample light, in my kitchen or in the living room?

I think ponytails look better inside the house, in fact they are best suited for indoors. My family when i was young had a ponytail in their front foyer room and it looked good. We hit it over by mistake and broke the pot and the roots were all messed up. My dad then put it into a smaller pot and it started dieing...
