i own a tanning salon and i am currently remodling it and i was interested in putting some palm trees in the salon to give it a more tropical atmosphere to the cusotmers. What type of palm tree would best survive in indoors?

i am looking to buy prob 3 or 4 i really am not sure yet until the painting and furniture is put in due to space. i certainly dont want something huge but something that would give it just that right touch of a tropical atmosphere but also not overwhelming when people come in?

any pics of the salon? how tall are your ceilings? I think the Areca or butterfly palm would do well also the bamboo palm tree. lets see cardboard palms do ok as well but don't look as nice. let me see what else. get back to me with that info...

well i dont have any pics with me at the current moment but the ceilings are about 10ft high maybe a little more. i looked at both palms and i liked both. i am leaning more towards the bamboo but like i said i will have to see when the painting is complete and the furniture is put in to see which one would go best. any one that you think would be a better idea? also what maintenance is needed to keep these palms alive?

For easier maintenance i would go with the bamboo aswell, they need less attention and lighting.
