A woman allegedly involved in a spate of palm tree arson attacks in Canberra has been granted bail in the ACT Magistrates Court.
Madison Osborne, 18, was arrested on Saturday night with three youths for setting fire to a palm tree in Richardson.
Police say the offenders were seen lighting the tree around midnight before fleeing.
The court was told there have been 38 arson attacks on palm trees in Canberra since December.
The trees are each worth up to $10,000.
Police say they conducted surveillance on a group of offenders as part of an investigation into the attacks.
Constable Ben Case told the court Osborne's co-offenders have admitted to lighting fires the week before their arrests.
He said it is alleged Osborne supplied the lighter used in Saturday's fire.
The three other youths will appear before the ACT Children's Court.
