Question Need help building a pond?

Looking for someone that knows how to build a pond for me in front yard. Looking for someone to design my front yard with a pond in it. I would like the pond at least 10 feet in diameter and possible with a rock waterfall or something to make it stand out. I live in the Chicago area and feel free to send me a message if you can help.

Default Could help with pond

First off what a beautiful home you have! What part of Chicago do you live in? I actually had my pond in my home done for me about a year ago and it looks beautiful. My designer used Mexican fan palms and other palms in order to make the pond look very realistic and tropical. I could send over pictures and contact info if you'd like if you give me your email.

Default Shanon V

What has it been like having Mexican fan palms? I am actually thinking of purchasing some to put around my pool. If you don't mind, can I give you my email that way you can send me pictures of your pond?

Default Trying to help pond builder r us to build a pond

Judging by the size of the house I really do think you should make your pond a little bigger than 10 feet. Maybe go 15 feet? If you make your pond small, it is going to look out of place when it is finally finished. Try adding some Date palms to make the pond look nicer. Hopefully your pond comes out how you want it to come out!

Angel I was thinking about it and I really think I am going to make my pond a little bigger so it can look even with my house. Thanks again!

I may possibly know someone that could help you. I come from a very handy family and they do all kinds of work on homes both indoors and out. I have not ever seen a project that they could not handle. We are all located in the Chicagoland area if you are still looking for help and have still not found anybody for the job.
