Default worried about my sylvester palms.....

my wife and i recently re-did our pool area landscaping and remodeled our pool. we wanted to give it a tropical feel, so we decided to go with a variety of palms. we ended up with a mixture of sabal, windmill, pindo and sylvesters. the centerpiece of the landscaping are the 3 sylvester palms that we had put in directly behind our spa. when they were delivered they had a lot of brown fronds. we were told by the landscaper that this was normal. well, they have been in for a couple of months now and they are not looking any better. i know i should probably just be patient, but all of the other palms are nice and green and the sylvesters look terrible. they literally take away from the whole look of my pool area. when people come over to our house they ask us what is wrong with our trees. it is a little disheartening after the substantial investment we just made. the thing that worries me the most is that some of the new growth fronds are coming out of the tree dead!!! is this normal? i can post pics of what the trees look like if that will help. thank you in advance.

Exclamation Hello Louisiana Peeps!

Hello all people of Louisiana!! How is everybody doing? I was sittin on ma porch eatin some Gumbo and a po boy sandwich. Its usually what we eat around here. I eat this just about every day, any way I got to thinkin bout planting some nice palm trees out here. a nice couple just moved here from florida they do have sylvester palms. I was wantin something eco friendly that would look nice out here it gets real humid around June. I also heard about a lipstick palm tree that likes a real wet marshy climate with red bamboo stalk. my whole yard is muddy not much to look at right now.Can anyone tell me where I could get this type of palm out here? I greatly appreciate it.
