Care Help
Hi, I just redid some of the landscape at a beach house I just bought about six months ago and had the landscapers put in some palm trees, not quite sure what they are but I think they look closest to a California Palm, and Christmas palm, but they are looking to healthy. the leaves are brown and keep falling off, I have asked the landscapers if this is normal or what is going on and, they keep telling me don't worry they are ok just to give it some more time so they can get use to being planted in a new environment. I spent a lot of money on these trees and I really hate to have them die, I am not comfortable with the response the landscapers are giving me. Can someone help me and let me know what other things I can do to help save these trees. PLEASE PLEASE!!!!

Silver Mediterrean Fan Palm
Last summer I repotted a silver med fan palm and it did beautifully all summer. I bought a second and pulled a "baby" from it to give to a friend. The baby did fine but now i believe the mother plant died (spike is done). I had brought both in for the winter and kept in my kitchen near a bright window. The original one that did so well over the summer has now turned brown and the fronds are drooping. Any suggestions?

Sago Palm, Myrtle Beach
I noticed a large ball type growth in the center of my sago palm ,it's nine years old about 12" in diameter and 13-14" tall , what is the ball in the middle ? Should I trim the plant to let the ball grow and spread out or just leave it alone ? Thanx..Joey
