germinating a fiji fan palm seed?

any one have any tips on this type of palm seed. Or should I just do what I normally do? soak the seeds for two days then baggie with wet paper towel under a lamp...

Every time I try they seem to start to grow fungus. I haven't successfully germinated one yet.. Im trying to use some anti fungus stuff to soak them and with the paper towel. We'll see

Keep the the Seeds moist Instead of fugicide Use 3 drops of bleach to every one cup of water in a spray bottle. no Fungus no mold makes for happy successful germination. Doesn't hurt the seed at all.

Spray them every few days or just to keep them moist? Use Pete Moss or paper towel? have you germinated any fiji fan palm seeds?

important to keep seeds Moist I have found that plastic containers not only hold in moisture they also act as minature green houses for those seeds that require humidity. I have germinated just about everything at one time or another moister and Constant heat is the key to success. Fiji Fan Palms ARE farely easy to germinate Good Luck.
