Would it be better to germinate palm seeds or to buy larger ones?

I am interested in doing my own landscape and buy some extra palms for the inside of my house. I guess my question is how long and would it be a good idea to grow palms from a seed?

Call your local nursery, wholesale nursery and sometimes, sometimes they will sell you one gallons for cheap but I doubt it unless you buy in quantity. You can call Real Palm Trees and see if they will do it. Worth a shot.
