Default How cold does it get?

If you protect it from the heat by keeping it in the shade, maybe. But honestly the tree will not be very healthy due to the low humidity.

Secondly, how cold does it get? Travelers do not handle frost very well either.

So i guess what I'm saying is that anything is possible, but it would be a lot of work and I don't think the tree will be even close to as beautiful as the ones you see in Hawaii.

I live in Huntington Beach, Ca, and even though my USDA zone is 10a, the Travelers you see around here do not look very impressive; they look more like giant birds of paridise on steroids. The fan's wedge only make it about 45' before the leaves start to die. So it looks more like a pie slice fan rather than the 180' fan you see at tropical locations.
