Default Palm ID request from California

I have had this growing for a few years in this pot always outside and want to know if it will survive in the ground if I plant it. I live a few miles from the coast in south San Diego and wanted to know what palm it is.
Thanks

Default Chambeyronia macrocarpa

From that pic I would guess a Chambeyronia macrocarpa (Red Leaf Flamethrower), if it is, the newly opened leaves should be a red/burgundy color, but if you have it in the sun the red color doesn't always show very well. Also, the leaflets should be about 2-3 inches wide and the trunk about 4-5 inches thick.

If it has been outside in a pot for a few years it will certainly survive in the ground. I would suggest planting in a shady area so you can start enjoying the red leaves (that's if you haven't seen them already).
