Robotic Palm tree climber
Hi I am an Latech University student majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I am developing a palm-tree/pole-climbing robotic device. I haven't completed the project yet. When its completed, It can climb on any vertical pole shape structure (including palm tress) with a payload capacity of 300lbs. It will have a robotic arm to do the work and video streaming to the controller. I came to this forum to ask you some questions to you guys...
Do you think such a device would help and serve you better in anyway?
with 300lbs payload capacity, do you think it should be able to carry a human instead of being operated remotely?
what are the difficulties you are facing that can be solved with a palm tree climbing device?
