Once again can I say thank you especially Palmlover, you helped me save my lovely Canary date palm.
I was wondering when would be the best time to wrap the palms to protect from extreme cold? They have recovered so well this summer that I want to be prepared if it snows again this winter...

Heavy mulching and burlap the whole palm.

The best time to wrap up your canary island date palm would be right when the temperature starts to drop below 45 degrees. Use Burlap, this will allow your palm tree to breath. Like LPN said use heavy mulching to protect roots. If you any other questions, I am here for you.
