A great wedding present.

I'm looking for a palm tree to give as a wedding present. The couple resides at the New Jersey shore. Are there any varieties that are frost tolerant? What is the lowest temperature range a palm variety can survive?
Thanks

RESPONSE:
Winter Palms...
Great gift idea!! I feel the Needle Palm will serve you best, it can endure negative 20 degrees Fahrenheit. And the Sable Minor Palm Tree would also be a candidate, but I recommend the Needle Palm Tree or Windmill Palm Tree in your shoreline environment.
If transplanting on the shore (literally), it needs to be transplanted during warm temperatures to so it can establish roots.
If purchased in a pot (original soil/peat moss and established roots), these palm trees will easily endure these temperatures.
Either, if you transplant or use a pot, you will still need to shelter (some sort of wind barrier) the palm tree; let's say another tree, a wooden fence, etc... They don't necessarily have to be right next to the Needle Palm Tree, but close enough to absorb some of the winds.
Also, even though I recommend the Needle Palm tree to thrive in the New Jersey Shoreline, it's not necessarily the case. Every habitat is different, so thus every palm tree, or any plant or organism for that matter might not survive, just because of "Natures Awe".
Nevertheless, I think this would be a great wedding gift and they will enjoy it for ever.

Thanks for your help with the frost tolerant varieties. Decided to go with the "softer" windmill palm. Thanks again,
