Default Can any hybrids live in the UK?

if so what species?

Wink of course... just bring them in for the winter.

you might have a problem.
I have a friend that lives north of where i live and he actually planted his palm where it freezes, he just covers it with a blanket and sprays it down twice a day with water. he said he's had the palm for years using that method...

there are many hybrids that will do ok in your area. there are some hybrids of needle palms and red latin or blue latin palms.

its Blue Latan or Red Latan.

Definitely prepare your palms for the winter, It makes no sense caring for them and then when winter comes along to lose them to a freeze.

Default I would definately bring them in...

I took a Eurotrip about a month ago and it was cold. I had a blast though, I went to Germany, Hungary, Italy, France, and Spain. It was Great!!!

Hybrids do well in the U.K. The mule palm is doing great over there. As well as a few other hybrids. We just shipped 100 mule palms to the U.K. last month.
