Banana Babies?
Can I take the small babies of the large banana palm and plant them in another container or in the ground?

start in a small container...
then transfer them to a large once they grow out of the container you will notice the roots are either popping on top of the soil or a heavy bulb at the bottom, it is then when you transplant them into a larger conatiner..

careful
you have to be careful when taking the sucklings away from the mother because some roots are shared, but im sure you can take them and plant them in another container just make sure to watch them very carefully and water once a day

Sometimes you can cut the root if it is shared.
just be careful you do not cut the tap root or the main root.
