Thumbs up bottle palm tree

Would they be considered rare?

I just got one that I ordered from here and it didn't look much like the picture. It looks better. Has more branches and is a reddish brown color. Its Very beautiful. I will put up a picture when i get my camera working again.

Any one else Like Bottle Palms?

Default Bottle Palm Tree!

This is from Florida Data
Bottle palm is from Round Island, a tiny speck of land in the Indian Ocean which is part of the Mascarene Island group. There are said to be fewer than 15 specimens left in its native habitat, but bottle palm is cultivated for its unique beauty in tropical countries around the world.

I would consider them rare. They aren't so rare in Florida because they are growing them like crazy but imagine only 15 left in their natural habitat, that's pretty dam rare.

And yes I like the Bottle Palm Tree
