Exclamation Foxtail Palms?

I am in the Market in buying palms. After considering my options and what I would like to see when driving up to my home. I have considered the following three options.

The Foxtail Palm

The Christmas Palm

or The Florida Royal Palm

I know these may be common but they work with the landscape I have. I am now curious to see which of these have the least of problems. I know the Royal palm will grow very tall but I put that in to consideration. My question is which would do the best with little to no problems. I live in West Palm Beach?

I got a good deal on here with the amount I am buying so I am just curious to see what species I should get.

Thanks

Frank.

Default Triple Foxtail Palms

Triple Foxtail Palms. This isn't seen everywhere and looks great when lined up in a row. If not these then do the Single Christmas Palms. Or you can Do triple Cuban Royal Palms. Really Awesome! I seen these in magazines and driving around miami area. Beautiful.

Default FoxTail palms are cool Drought is not

Here in California FoxTails are farely new to our market and are very cool palms. But have to be aclimated to our climate when purchased from Florida. The high humdity of southern florida makes for quick growth but it takes 1 winter in California to tell if there going to even have a chance here. I wish I lived in Florida you guys can grow almost anything tropical. San Diego just got hit with major water restrictions Because of our on going drought conditions thats going to cost the lives of some of my palms . It really makes me mad Water is going to triple in price in san diego with $400 fines for over usage. Sad days for all palm growers in San Diego

Default FoxTail palms

So you are saying that foxtail palms are hardly seen in CA. They are absolutely everywhere in Florida. What are your water restrictions? My friend lives in an area where they had water restrictions but they just recently turned that them off, I think. At least you don't have our VICIOUS MOSQUITO'S. Right now the Mosquito's are lovin it. They are raptors of the night. SO annoying cant do any gardening outside pass 6 pm.

Cool Starting June 15th 20 percent cut back

FoxTails will grow here put have to be climatized if not grown in california or if grown in a green house as with most other tropicals. Nurserys that import Foxtails from Florida do not do as well as the Foxtails grown here allthough the ones grown here grow much slower. Our winters are windy, cold and dry for the most part 2-3 months of rain season. Southern California has lots of sun and little rain. Unlike the Extreme humitity Florida has which grows Palms really fast. The only down side you have is the Bugs.
