My Palm Tree needs help

Actually it may be beyond help...My best guess is that my tree is a bottle palm. It was growing fine, then I think it got scales. All the leaves have fallen off, and the bottle part is really soft. Feels empty. I'm just wondering if it's too late for my tree or if it has any chance of survival.

It doesn't sound to good. Sometimes an image can really help. IF the center spear comes out of the middle then it is rotted. The best thing to do is to give it bright light and water ever two to three days if it is not to late already. Let me kno
