Default Cold Hardy Palm???

I'm in the Meridian Idahoe area and I am intrested in getting some palm trees, but I am concerned about the cold weather during the winter. I have heard somewhere that there are at least three types of cold hardy palm trees that will do well. Can someone give me some suggestion's about which type of cold hardy palm will do well in my area, I just love that tropical look and feel they give.

Default The best palms for us are windmills and europeans

Meridian's not to far from Boise and you can come by and see them in my yard before I bring them in for winter. They are about 5 to 6 feet tall and had them for about two years. I bought them from real palm trees, this place a couple of years ago and they gave me problems at first but then they came around. I live off of Linden Street and Illinois Ave, next to BYU Idaho.

Post Couple Suggestions

The Annual Low in your specific area is 41.3F..so you actually have quite a variety to choose from as there are quite a few cold hardy palms that would survive in temperatures you didn't think were possible! California Washingtonia is hardy to −12 C (10 F); it prefers a dry Mediterranean climate, though it still grows in areas with humid subtropical climates like Brisbane, Sydney, Houston, and New Orleans but i'm not 100% sure if your climate is actually warm enough to keep the life of Palm..The Kentia on the other hand can grow extremely well in 25-28 Degrees F. Even indoors as it only needs little sun exposure. Hope I could help and here's two photos of my suggestions as well because why not! Some Palms to appreciate..

First The Kentia

Last but not least the California Washingtonia
