This is very robust for a silver date palm. I do believe there is two varieties the robust and the skinnier type. I like the thicker one. Much nicer but probably more expensive. Good buy though. I have seen people pay three times this much. (Posted on 8/7/09)

The Sylvester Date Palm Tree I got came on a large sized trunk. I didn't know it was going to arrive like that. It was a good thing I have a husband with 3 grown boys to help me unload the truck. I wasn't aware of the largeness of the palm tree. I am not complaining though. It was more than I expected. (Posted on 5/20/09)
