You know, I keep seeing and reading all these positive reviews on the palm trees. So really i was very skeptical. I wanted to order a cheap one but after I saw this palm tree at a visit in Cuba, I fell in love. So I can now see why everyone is so positive on the customer service. (Posted on 7/20/11)

This palm tree is very hard to find! I have tried to find a place where I can purchase online because of what I do for my job. I do not have time to go searching for this palm tree. I'm glad someone was selling it. A lot of people do not know why this palm tree is so rare and expensive. First it is from Cuba, well all know things are hard to get from there like the Cuban cigars. The old man palm is also very slow growing, very slow growing. Making it more expensive to take care of. Therefore more expensive to sell. Large specimens can be worth thousands. This is what I know, I'm sure there are many other reasons why this palm tree is more expensive than others.
