Default Use LCF on it

LCF is Liquid Copper Fungicide bro, if your growing a canary island date palm then this will be your best friend for its entire life, you should spray the lcf at least 2 to 3 times a year to keep it from developing fungus and to keep it nice and green and healthy. Good luck with bringing your palm tree back to life, Canary's are very finicky, so try not to do too much at the same time...

Default Yellow Discoloration...

Does the discoloration resemble this "pineapple" palm (phoenix canariensis)?

I can't help with a solution but these palms are so majestic yet scary seen in the wild... I have been close to one in Tenerife 2010.

Difficult to grow in some parts of the UK, in winter they do need some protection.

Not seen discoloration before.
