I think the Lipstick Palm Tree is the best option for the bedroom
You need the right lighting though, to get the red light special!

oo la la
I was thinking to get a lipstick palm for my bedroom since I am decorating with an animal theme and I think the red color on the trunk is really going to stand out. I'm just not sure that kind of palm tree is able to be indoors; if not I will put some kind of plant life in my bedroom. i really enjoy the way a palm tree livens up a room though.

I say this bc i actually have 2.
My guest room in our house has sorta an asian theme to it. Its very soothing and relaxing. Every time we have guests over they love their room

The poll closed and its a tie..
Lipstick and Canary Island palms are equal. I think your room would have to be rather large to fit a canary island date palm tree in your bedroom.

Lol, well I stand corrected
My friend down the street has canary island date palm seeds germinating inside his home and growing a couple in his living room. They seem to be doing good, he waters them 1 a week and has them under a skylight near a window. So iguess you can have a canary island date palm tree in your home. Now heres the question though, is it really considered a tree or a plant?
