Default Florida Palm Trees, FL Palms (Wholesale Palms and Plants)

Everyone keeps on talking about different state palm trees well I know lots about palms but maybe there are some palm trees I do not know about. I live in Florida. Zone 10. So I want to know something I do not know about palms gentlemen and ladies. I love palms and if someone can give me some name of a palm I do not know I will be very surprised. The reason I am doing this thread is for knowledge. I have a variety of palm trees in my front and back yard in Florida. Boca Grand to be specific about half an hour away from Frt. Meyers and 20 minutes from Venice Florida. I want to know a palm tree that can not only do well in my area but that is also a palm I have never heard or seen before.

I am willing to drive down to pretty much anywhere in the state of Florida to find and pick up the palm tree. Lets just say I plan on living where I live for a while. I have a boyfriend but he doesn't understand the love I have for palm trees. He is native to Florida. Im not.

So if anyone knows of a palm and it would be great if it wasn't a retail center or retail nursery. I know how to get my way with wholesale prices.

Thanks to all other palm lovers on here.

There's a guy in the St. Pete area that I met a few years ago that seemed like a palm "scientist" I've never met any one that had so much knowledge about palms. He was a collector for years, turning his small acreage into a palm "Heaven" if you will... He is now licensed and has started a small nursery at his residence, and sells many palms from around the world. I recently bought a few from him, including one that he said came from the other side of the world. I don't remember the name (he wrote it down for me and showed me pics of it's native area) but it basically is a coconut palm look-alike with out the fruit and it's cold tolerant up to snowy temps. It's amazing. I can get you his email and send you his "palm list" if you are interested.

Default I visited the St.Petersburg area

I went to downtown St.Pete and then went to St.Pete Beach. St.Pete Beach was a blast especially being near the beach and the bars. There was one bar that stands out, it's called the Undertow in St.Pete Beach and they had palm trees everywhere and a game where you have to throw a ring on a nail thats in a coconut palm and if you get it in the hole, they give you a free drink!
