Default If i plant some cuban royal palm seeds how long until it reaches roughly about 3 feet

I just purchased some Cuban Royal palm seeds off of Real Palm Trees and i was just wondering how long until I can notice it growing. How many years will it take to reach 3 feet?

Default

at least 3-4 years.

Growing palms from seed is not a way to get a plant you want for a landscape, it's more just for the fun of growing something. If you want something to be a certain size you should just buy it that size.

I have a couple 18"-24" Cuban Royals that are about a year from being 3 feet. If you are interested just email me directly (I'm rarely on this site to check messages). You can get all my contact info from my website, SurfCityPalms.com

Default Growth.

Typically you can expect 3 months on germination. Just out of curiosity did Realpalm trees give you a harvest date as to when these seeds had been harvested. If they have been sitting on the shelf you may get very little germination and like surfcity said just buy some seedlings from someone that will give you a decent deal. The royal as a seedling will normally grow a foot a year in the beginning stage.
