Default San Diego Palm Growers (Canary Island Date Palm)

Hello All,

I am new to the forum and I live in San Diego California. I am looking to buy a Canary Island Date Palm along with a few other palm trees for my area. I am looking for a palm grower or wholesale grower in San Diego or somewhere near San Diego that can supply me with some Canary Island Date Palms at a good price and with other palms. I see palms every where I go in my neighborhood and they must have come from some nursery either way back when or recently. So my questions is where can I buy palm trees at wholesale price in California?

I couldn't think of a user name so I did a cheesy one, Canary Palm Guy ha

Default San Diego California Palms

I don't know if I can help you out with some Palm Growers in California, well in San Diego at least. I know of two places. Kings Palms, Old Mans Desert Farm. I know there are lots of Palm Growers in California though. I just can't believe the mark up on those Canary Island Date Palms are so much. It should be illegal for what they are trying to sell them for. Wait, I think another palm distributor or grower is Nates Palms. I think it is close to that. Or if you want to save money try searching in other states to see what there prices are. Maybe even check with these guys here to see if there prices are cheaper. To tell you the truth I think any place will be cheaper than in California.

Palm trees are sometimes advertised in Craigslist. Be careful though. I wouldn't trust some one selling 3-4,000 dollar palm trees.

San Diego has a population of 1,200,000 million people. That's a lot. There has to be some palm growers on the outside cities and areas where it is no so dense in population. What other type of Palm Trees are you looking for?

Some other palm trees you may want to look at are the Sylvester Date Palm Tree, Medjool Date Palm Tree, Pygmy Date Palm Tree, Cliff Date Palm Tree, Senegal Date Palm Tree and maybe even the Bismarck Palm Tree.

Let me know what you find out. I would like to hear to prices you found for the palm trees.

Default wholesale date palms California

Lots of wholesale places for date palms in Arizona, Texas, and Cali. I heard good deals on here for Canary Island Date Palm Trees.

Date Palms are expensive to say the least. I would try to watch out for places trying to sell you canarys and other date palms for over 500 FT a CT. Thats a rip off. A good price is 300-450 max.

Good look on the hunt for Canary's.

I am sure you will find a place that will sell them cheap.

The weather in Cali is so awesome. I would die for that weather.

Default LPN your from Georgia!

what would you know about cali prices.. if you purchase a canary island date palm for around 350 to 400 its going to be crap and die on you. I see the canary island date palm everywhere I go here and the way that I know is through my neighbor who just finished buying one, he spent about 10,000 for a 15 foot canary delivered and installed.

Default I bought my Canary Island Date Palms

I did lots of searching and called lots places. Some nurseries were mean and some were nice. Nates Palms was to expensive and didn'tlike the quality. Lots of growers did not have the size I wanted. I called some place south coast growers but they were not wanting my business and they seemed like there tree were worth as much as platinum. They were charging close to 700 per foot delivered. Ridiculous. Well I was almost about to give up. Then I decided to give it a shot and call this place. Well I got 450 Delivered and Grade A Fat Canary's. I got three of them at 14 FT Clear Trunk. Needless to say I was very pleased with the overall service and quickness of the delivery. I love the trees. All I had to do is get my landscaper to install them. He's my friend so he hooked it up. Real Palm Trees definitely came through when all else was trying to rip me off. I will upload a photo of what it looks like when get a chance.

Default I am glad you enjoyed your palm trees

I'm from Mobile and those palms do not grow here, the canary island date. They are gorgeous palms!

Default Just moved to Beverly Hills, California

So I would like to know how the hole process went with the Date Palms. I am looking for some rather tall ones my self. I have a bunch of palm trees in my yard and I don't even know what have of them are. Who ever did our landscape, did a good job though. I would still like to see some date palms in my yard. I think I have a small date palm.

There are Multiple Species of Date Palms, I'd be glad to help if you could reply back with a more specific type..
