Yes...the bubble wrap is coming off right now..I thought enough air might get around big style bubbles....but after some much wrap...I do not think the air can make it much more that 3 feet...plus if the sun get on it it really heats to much...the environment changes to much here...I agree that the burlap is the way to go...if they make it to this beach and wind is rolling at 30 mph...well then a canvas sock might be worth it..I also thought od the burlap and tyvak...30 inchs or about with velcro on the one open side...that way when it does get to december I can cover them better and leave some velcro open for vent action....also it would be a good place for the temp sensor to hang out in...who really knows...but I do need anybodys ideas from here if you got one....something cheap...and easy...I also went to get the palms from the other casino...Trump plaza....but they had already returned them...they rented them...and boy were they beat..they were worst than mine..shame!!!..

Well...the heat stats came in today...heavy duty looking....burlap came in friday...it is going to be good here this week...so I will do it now....I am going to go back to one of my original ideas...some corragated plastic pipe...slit up side....which I did not locate yet...I did get some other hortoculture dude to tell me I am basically screwed...the palms look well...the fronds are sort of tied up but not enough to cheat sun or start moisture rot...I have watered them good..I got giant plastic bags from some military excess co.....going to put them on the tops if get real bad....there clear..of course minor vent holes....possibly the heat from the tube will rise to the bag....the tube will flex with the tree if they make it to the beach and move..if you know it is going to be warm...you can open the bottom of the tube....does anybody have any ideas....easy mount up ideas like bags or tubes??????..something light...easy to do...

Default Winter Protection for palm trees TOM

Where there is a will there is a way.... I have found a link to a person protecting his palm trees year after year and he is using styrofoam boxes. IM trying to find where i have saved it because this method he used was very efficient and he lives in Zone 4. So you can imagine how cold it gets. If you have done this much tom i think to invest another 100-200 dollars will benefit you and will make your palm trees survive. There are styrofoam sheets you can buy or small boxes you can stack up, all you have to do is glue (coack) them together and make it how ever high the palm tree is and add some support to the top along with tying it down so that way the wind wont blow it away. Since you are handy, adding a light kit or two will be easy to give the palm tree some light and some warmth. Use burlap to wrap the palm tree and place all the heating wires you want inside to give the palm tree its warmth. You can also add a ventilation hole on the top so you can water it and let it get natural light. Another thing you could add is the temperature gage to see the temp inside the box. This is what i got from the things he said and i saw something similar on here. I think it will be the best bet and cheapest way to protect any palm tree during any winter. I really hope for the best i will see if i can draw something up for you on a program i have so you can get a better picture of what im talking about. Maybe you can use it next year

Well....I bought the tubes...I did find the sheets of styrofoam...but the wind on the beach...where there going to end up will probably rip them apart....looks like a correct idea though...if my idea works it will be quicker...the box will be easier to regulate and not absorb as much sun, which will be a issue...hence me putting them at my shop to tend to all the time and monitor...I wrapped like you guys said...burlap...tested tube pieces yesterday....tubes getting mounted tomorrow...the couplers are tightened by wire ties...easy...reusable...plastic..no breaking..but black....I can open side very easy if going to be a hotter day....my peacocks liked this spot prior to the palms due to warm area...they shed there tails at end of summer grow them back in winter....will post pics of tubes going up in am....and also the ground heat cables...the wind on that beach gets murdering all day long in winter!...

got a couple of tubes on...burlap was wet so we stopped have to finish this week. The heater regulater will be under the tube...on the outside of burlap and positioned at the split, we will put the first coupling right above there..so we can open the bottom if we want..regulator will do trunk and ground heat at first..

It is basically a slight nightmare...I have bagged the tops to try and keep some of the heat in while letting natural vent process go up through the top..the clear 6x6 bags are making condensation...there is a tennis ball hole in the top of each bag to permit the rise of air...when I cut the holes I could feel the air come buy..but still have condensation...which is no good I would say...it is a real pain...I wonder if the palm would make it if the bags were off....I will post some pics later..

opened more vents...monitoring temps to keep at 40...relieving condensation from bags with more vent holes....constantly checking heat tapes to make sure ground faults don't trip....there built in tape adaptor...I hate them they always fail...RPT gave me a little palm to start in office...it is 3 inches in cup...growing..cold hardy starter in jersey...they gave me some seeds also...I have to get them started...thanks guys.

If you want to try your hand at poker, but don't know where to start, Stake Me To Play - https://www.stakemetoplay.com/ will help you understand all the main points. There you will find great information, almost step-by-step instructions. For example, when I started, I often bluffed. And I often lost. And this article tells you why it is better not to do it.

And how do you usually rest from everyday problems and worries? I used to play computer games. But I got bored with them quickly. And now I play at the casino. This https://canadacasinoplay.com site compiles the best options for playing online casinos in Canada. I usually pay attention to the rating. Of course, I choose the best positions.
