Default Majestic palm help...

Hi , I have a total of 6 palm tree, and Im northeastern Pa .. My majestic palm which is indoors now, recently had a mealy bug fungus on it..It looked like a grayish,Black dust. I sprayed Ortho -Volck insect killer for plants on it. Well it looked great, and took care of the problem..But think it may have been a bit too strong as for all of the fronds and shoots turned brown, rite down to the last one . the plant feels all soft and week at the trunk. My question is can this plant be revived, or is it time to put it in the trash.....? Thanks for any help that I can get !!!!!!
Carmen

Default lol, I did the same thing a couple of years ago...

It wasnt the same product but it was an insect killer and after spraying down some of my plants they all started browning. I should have sprayed an area first before spraying the insect killer everywhere. They changed colors within an hour and they looked limpy like. I gave it some time washed it down with some water and they all came back to normal after a couple of weeks. I didn't trim all the leaves just some of the dead palms I think.

It happens to us all...
