well ohio beth...

you can click inside RPT store and find info on the palm tree or go to their palm blog... you might find a different type of palm that might suit your needs and your temperatures better.

good luck finding someone to trade those...

they are expensive and shipping them without having done it before can be deadly expensive.

You can also look for landscaping lighting in each of those stores

lowes or home depot will have them for sure, I checked.:D

Welcome Gadget...

It usually takes about a week to get the palm tree from RPT. The Zamia is nice and doesn't grow that tall. One of my friends clips the bottom of the stems so they grow taller and have a "retro" look....

Windmill Palms Are Expensive

they are definately slow growing..

but heres the flipside, look at the picture below. Its an old picture of mine, but gets the point across of why they are expensive.
