In its native habitat, the Cabada Palm enjoys moist soil and tolerates poor soils that have good drainage. The Cabada Palm thrives in rich, warm, sheltered, and moist soil. It prefers tropical thru to sub-tropical conditions. This Tropical Palm comes from the Comores Islands and is popular with many people looking for a quick growing Areca Palm. The medium sized clumping feather like palm is best planted in a full sun and will tolerate no extra waterings once established. The Cabada Palm makes a great accent as it is considered to embody the tropical appearance of being on an island.
