This was a great purchase for me to go along with my Kentia. I wanted something tropical and after asking the plant forum people they helped me out with this little beauty. Its leaves are light green easy maintenance and looks great with a lot of sunlight. I bought 2 of them so I could give one to my mother whose retired down in the florida keys. She was very excited when she recieved it but hopefully she can keep it alive. I do not know if this palm came from fiji and its beautiful. In New York my flat manager knows the palm tree when it arrived. He came to my door with palm tree and beautiful when unwrapped. thank you very much for beautiful fiji palm and service for the company is great. thank you

I have had some problems with this tree by trying to keep the palm tree indoors. I lost a leaf and the other leaves were getting leaf burn. I was reading that the Fiji Fan Palm loves being by water or having the roots saturated. And in some blog and garden blogs they mention that over watering can be the cause of leaf browning. SO I am bit confused. I have been watering it barely enough as my other palms. However in this case I believe that every Palm tree has a liking to a particular type of soil or environment is was grown in. So as I continued to do some research on this type of palm tree I have found that this tree lives in the tropics, having high humidity and having lots of rain. I started watering and spraying the leaves much more then any other of my palms and it worked. The palm started doing much better and had more life so to say. I wish real palm trees would have been slightly more specific on the care sheet to make sure the palm would survive and grow nicely. So I give it 3 stars all the way. Its a good palm. It was shipped well. And If you can not find this palm tree anywhere else but here. At least a trusting site. All others sites are very outdated. Thanks (Posted on 11/18/15)

This is one of my Favorite Palm Trees. As it Matures they even get prettier. I already have one of these on my property but I am really considering about buy either the Fiji Fan Palm Seeds or a small palm tree so I can watch it grow. I can not wait. I love this palm its so unique and grows really fast not sure how it does in colder climates but in Sarasota,Florida its just fine. I was also surprised to see how fast the delivery for this was.
