one word. Heavy! like others have said, use a dolly! I ended up having a large box all afternoon on the driveway, the box started getting hot, so I was worried about the leaves buring up in this south florida heat, so had to make an extra trip to Lowes for a hand truck. Smaller then I wanted, I wanted big thick trunk. The bismarck palm arrived 5 FT Tall but I wanted a nice fat trunk. I have seen them at 5 FT with a thick trunk but it was growing in the ground. Maybe that was the difference. (Posted on 9/28/15)

Received the Blue Variety of the Bismarck Palm for my birthday and I loved it. The palm tree lost a few branches but I figured every plant has some type of shock when shipped or re-planted. (Posted on 8/12/15)

I have looked every where and this is the only place that sells them, I ordered and i got it yesterday it arrived healthy and alive and more surprisingly ( on time)This is probably the most beautiful palm tree as the leaves look like silvery blue/ green fans. I'm sure there may be more beautiful palms but this ones hard to find and this is the only company online that sells them. I have already received my order I'm very impressed with how it arrived specially packaged so there's no mess ready to plant and pot and included an instruction kit. I appreciate a company that will take the extra step in including an instruction kit in how much my specific Bismarck palm likes to be watered the type of lighting specific for my palm etc. Anyway, it's a a gorgeous silver blue colored palm and would definitely recommend this palm to anyone who wants to add some live decor to the inside of their home or office. I wish I would have gotten a 5-6ft versus the 1 foot I ordered. These trees grow very slow which the Chicago weather has a lot to do with. Other than that if your looking to buy a Bismarck and do not have a controlled temperature greenhouse get a larger one so you get the beautiful look that a Bismarck will bring inside or out. Great service from reapalmtrees.com they delivered on time and no mess when I pulled it out of the box all neatly wrapped and came with an instruction kit pack thing. I will have to agree with the others. The bismarck palm I got was good. I been wanting this tree for a very long time and I couldn't find a place I could just order online with out the hassle of going to a nursery very far away and then having to load the car up and do the planting myself. So I am glad they delivered the palm tree to my house and I had the option to have them install my tree however I just did it myself since it was already at my door. All I needed was a small Hand Truck or Dolly and that is it. (Posted on 11/18/14)
