Nice indoor plant, perfect for the centerpiece I was missing something in the hallway. I replanted it in another container cause they sent it in a plastic one but it looks good just get the fertilizer and the special dirt they sell I cant spell it but its micohorzal stuff the customer service people know what it is. I purchased this palm in December 2015 it's mid January and I live in New Jersey I never see a palm tree survive in the cold like this. It's a great purchase if you live in the cold. Thank you to this company who ship it right away.

very nice - very root bound to the pot. wish it wasnt so hard to remove from the container. The tree is doing fine. You would have to have lots of light indoors for this palm tree to grow with out any problems. Does much better in outside if you live in California. They arrive healthy at least

I ordered this palm about two months ago and planted it in my yard. I followed the directions and it looks good and has grown new fronds must be a good sign. Now this is going to be the first winter here in Michigan the temperatures are in the low 40's so hopefully it passes through the winter but it's November and I bought the 6 ft. So far so good. Even with snow on the ground. There is a kit for the cold weather. Ask a representative at RealPalmTrees .com to walk you through the process of keeping your tree alive during the cold seasons. The lady palm is a very cold hardy palm when when properly cared for.Thanks everyone for the help and I will hopefully be ordering a few Kentia palms in the spring with free shipping. It looks like they are earth friendly company, which is great. I have ordered other plants online from different places and they tend to use plastic peanuts and regular paper etc... I called customer service and they gave me a rundown on how their company switched to a paperless system to conserve and protect our trees. (Posted on 2/21/13)
