I didnt want to wait til march to receive my palm and knowing its cold hardy I had them ship it to me anyway in Delaware. The palm came with everything I needed including easy to use instructions, the palm was also green, and I recieved extra fertilizer. The people who answer the various phone calls I have made, have all been helpful and friendly. I was helped by a women named Amanda and we covered everything from the roots up to the leaves. I made some jelly from the fruit these pindos gave off. really easy to make thought it was going to be difficult but really it isnt. Just take the seeds off the vine when it fruits and put them in a cupboard for a couple of days (in AC) and let them ripen after that put them in the fridge so they become a little denser, pop the fruit from the seeds (which have been washed) and then put them in a blender with a little water... and you have jelly! add sugar if your batch needs some sweetening. The pindo palm i ordered from here looked awesome. I just finished planted it two days ago and it looks great. I should have ordered a larger one but just wanted to see what I was going to get before I spent a little more money. I can never have to many palm trees. (Posted on 5/20/09)
