One recommendation is to get bigger with the size. If you are going to spend the money already might as well go a little bigger and spend a little more. The purple king palm I got was nice but I wanted something more noticeable. (Posted on 8/14/15)

Purple King Palm Tree: Medium - The Reason I went with this tree is that it states it is a bit more cold hardy then the Regular King Palm. I also wanted some color in my yard other then green. I ordered a few other trees from here and wanted something a little different. I got my tree a few months ago. It lost a few of leaves but I was not worried. They grew back in a month or two after. When ordering this palm I had my reservations because of the size of the palm tree and the shipping costs associated with it, would be super expensive, but the shipping and handling was fair. I opened the packaged which had fragile stickers all over it and the box looked somewhat banged up. The palm tree looked beautiful and I could see that they took their time making sure that the leaves were all intact and still green. I thought that by the time I recieved it, it would have been brown but it was green and the soil was still somewhat moist. Overall the palm tree I purchased my husband and I. My overall experience with purchasing this palm tree went well. I used paypal to check out and the palm was delivered within a week, so turn around time for me was fast. I have had a hard time with trying to grow different plants and palms, usually because I have to read all about them etc. I purchased this palm tree about a month ago and I thought I was going to bring it to its end. The only reason why I bought it was for a birthday party. This king palm is still green and alive, I read the instructions called the 800 number asked questions and now we have an addition to the family. The palm I received looked just like the picture and it now is the focal point to my landscape. I wish the trunk would be a little bit more purple though. Quick delivery and they supplied a tracking number so i knew when i was going to recieve the palm. I didnt want it staying outside in a box all day while I was at work. A+ (Posted on 5/8/12)
