Ok, so here are the facts: I ordered this palm about two months ago and planted it in my yard. I followed the directions and it looks good and has grown new fronds must be a good sign. Now this is going to be the first winter here in Michigan And the temperatures are in the low 40's so hopefully it passes through the winter but it's already late November and I bought the 6 ft. So far so good.Also, new spears are starting to form. I'm watching it grow even with snow on the ground.! There is a special instruction kit for the cold weather.
