I placed my european fan palm, over here they call it meditterean fan palm, I placed it around my outdoor jacuzzi. Its like 5 degrees outside and the palm is doing great. I noticed the steam coming from the hot tub browned some of the tip of the leaves, so just be cautious on where you place it.
